  Pleasant beer garden with serene greenery. Lovely warm coonara fireplace inside. The food is decent unless you're looking for fresh well cooked vegies (they use McCain's frozen peas, corn n carrot mix, or the like).

  Powelley Burger was good value, came out reasonably quickly, views into the trees are nice and a visit at the end from the local birds was great

  Great little pub with a fantastic outdoor seating area at the back which overlooks LaTrobe River. Owners allowed us to bring our little dog out there too. Burgers were excellent and we weren't charged for our 3yo's lemonade!

  Not quite as hospitable with the new publican. Don't expect a smile unless he knows you're local. Also, expect to get a pint even if you ask for a pot, because he "can't be bothered getting up every time you want a drink". How's that for RSA.
